We ensure our customers that all needles are brand new and have an expiry date displayed once they are ready to get inked. TATTOO AFTER CARE
Caring for your fresh tattoo is crucial! Unsure on how to do so, ask your assigned artist or any of our staff members! Once your new ink is done they will apply a thin layer of petroleum based ointment directly onto the tattoo then cover it with either plastic wrap or fake skin depending on the size of your tattoo.
It is very exciting getting a new tattoo and it may be tempting to touch but it is so important that you leave it alone! A tattoo is basically an open wound, so keeping it clean and covered is a priority this will prevent any bacteria from getting into the wound that will cause any infections.
Here are some ways you can prevent your fresh tattoo from getting infected:
- Donot put body wash or any type of soap directly onto it
- Avoid tight clothing
- Avoid having direct sunlight
- !!SCRATCHING OR PICKING AT THE TATTOO!!
- Apply our ointment onto the tattoo 2-3 times a day after you have washed it and gently dried the area.
- Do not drag towel across the area after a shower,gently dap until it is dried.
